In a public address, President Obama presented the terms of his Nuclear Deal with Iran, the number one sponsor of Terrorism.
In his address, he praised the agreement that was reached and suggested that it was the only ‘viable’ way to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons — something many world leaders would classify as pure hokum (nonsense).
However after neatly laying out a few presumptuous assertions and misguided insinuations, the President made it clear that should Congress attempt to derail his Nuclear agreement with Iran — He would simply VETO their efforts.
“I am confident that this deal will meet the national security interest of the United States and it’s allies. So I will Veto any legislation that prevents the successful implementation of this deal” said President Obama.
As reported by Huff Post:
“WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama heralded a historic nuclear agreement with Iran Tuesday as an opportunity for the longtime foes to move in a “new direction,” while sharply warning Congress that it would be irresponsible to block the accord.
“No deal means a greater chance of more war in the Middle East,” Obama said in early morning remarks from the White House.”
Not long after, the President suggested that his plan is not based on hope or trust, but is instead based on ‘Verification’.
However many (including the Israeli PM) feel that the President’s plan is the exact opposite of that.
The deal gives Iran so much ‘space’ that even if we suspected that they were breaking the terms of agreement, It would be almost impossible to catch them!
Remember that Iran will have plenty notice before an “Inspection” because each one [inspection] must first be brought before several committees who will each have roughly 15 days to determine the feasibility and rationality of the request.
Talk about a fool’s Deal.
