North Korea Accuses Obama of Involvement
In response to the FBI’s accusation of being responsible for the SONY hack-attack, North Korea has denied all allegations and claims that it had absolutely no involvement in the cyber-attacks that left the entertainment giant with a big hole in its wallet and a black eye.
After denying the accusations, N. Korea then turned to blame the Obama Administration for being behind the development of “The Interview” — a moving that depicted the assassination of the North Korean dictator Kim Jong un.
N. Korea continued by implying that it has the power and technological capability to blow up the White House as well as the U.S. Pentagon. However, they did not stop at just implying — N. Korea threatened to retaliate against the U.S. if President Obama initiated any form of ‘Discipline’ in response to the hacking-attack that N. Korea denies any involvement in.
A top N. Korean defense official threatened attacks on “The White House, The Pentagon, and the whole U.S. Mainland” if the United States displayed any hostile activity in response to the SONY hack.
Earlier this week, President Obama accused N. Korea of “Cyber Vandalism” while others were calling it an “Act of War” against the homeland.
In a statement, President Obama announced that he was considering placing N. Korea back on America’s ‘Terror Watch’ List and slowing negotiations, aid, and commerce with the country because of its alleged involvement in the cyber-attacks against the company.
Apparently the N. Korean dictator did not take kindly to the fact that the United States was publishing a movie that depicted the assassination of its leader (Who would have guessed).
North Korea responded to President Obama’s threat with the following…
“Toughest counteraction will be taken against the White House, the Pentagon and the whole US mainland, the cesspool of terrorism, by far surpassing the ‘symmetric counteraction’ declared by Obama,”
According to the statement released by CNN.
Rising Tensions:
Each day we can clearly see that tensions between nations are at an all time high, but what we cannot see is the real reasons behind the escalating animosity.
Although it is possible that N. Korea was actually behind the attacks that hit SONY, I think it is equally possible that there is another plot at work in the shadows that is working towards destabilizing relations amongst foreign countries.
I honestly find it a bit odd that the movie “The Interview” depicts the assassination of a living dictator who the world already knows is a little — ehh, crazy.
But despite the fact that the N. Korean dictator is a little “wild”, I honestly don’t think he is wild enough to make an attempt engage in cyber-warfare against the country who developed the cyber-world. Something about the narrative Americans are being fed just doesn’t sit right with me. It seems a little too well scripted.
Besides, Americans have already been hearing about the fact that the U.S. dollar is in decline and could even crash under the right circumstances.
So could you imagine a “cyber-attack” that causes the U.S. banking system to collapse?
If this were to happen, the U.S. dollar would collapse but the American people wouldn’t blame the corruption within our government — Instead we would blame N. Korea or some other nation!
Could this be the beginning of a WW3 scenario?
