For those of you who don’t know Alice Cooper, Cooper was a multimillion-dollar mega rock-star who gave up his partying days and “wild-boy” lifestyle after he had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ.
Although Cooper had Christian roots seeing that both his father and grand-father are both ministers of the Gospel of Christ — Cooper found himself being swept away by the glamor of stardom.
Later in his life, Although Cooper had material wealth, he found himself himself in a position where it seemed that nothing could satisfy him. So in an attempt to mask his sorrows, he drowned himself in drugs and alcohol to fill the “God-sized void” that seemed to grow larger with each passing day.
It wasn’t long until God began to call Cooper away from the darkness that he was currently living in and back into the glorious Light of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
