Racial Tensions: Sharpton Cashes in
If you have been following the news in recent weeks, no doubt you have heard all the controversy over the Michael Brown and Eric Garner cases in which black men were killed by on-duty officers.
You have probably also noticed that Al Sharpton has been all over the place trying to re-live the “good ole days” when there were actually racial injustices in America. It seemed that Christmas couldn’t have come earlier for Sharpton who was quick to jump at a chance to fight what he so eagerly wanted to deem “Racial Injustice”.
In many of his speeches, Sharpton did an excellent job pouring gasoline on an already burning building when he insinuated that in recent days — cops have begun going into neighborhoods and targeting young black men for the color of their skin.
But after spending weeks enjoying his moment in the spotlight, demanding justice, demanding action, and bashing officers in the eyes of the black-community by calling them “Cockroaches” who need to have the “Lights” shone on them for their actions — Sharpton is now ready to make a complete 180-degree flip when a young black man actually targets and kills 2 on-duty police officers in Brooklyn in what is being deemed a “Revenge Attack” for the death of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.
After learning of the shooting that left 2 of New York’s finest dead, Sharpton quickly took to the White-House’s Liberal “lapdog” (CNN) and tried to clarify weeks of his cop-bashing rants and race-baiting tirades.
“These were NY’s finest, doing their work protecting our city, protecting our community. We are mourning their loss.We are all outraged and saddened by the death of these police officers.
Any use of the names of Eric Garner or Michael Brown in conjunction with violence or the killing of Police is reprehensible.”
said Sharpton.
David Clarke: Milwaukee Sheriff Chimes in
“Phony, that is what he (Sharpton) is.
Al Sharpton is a cartoon. I don’t know why the media continues to put a microphone and a camera in front of his face” Said Clarke
He continued…
“I’m not going to engage in hyperbole, but Al Sharpton has created a pathway that has lead to the increase in police-hatred all across America.
He doesn’t believe a word of what he said today, neither does anyone else.
He does propagate violence, he propagates hate. He is self-serving, and it is about time that America starts to turn away from Al Sharpton along with some of these other cop-haters that we have heard so much from over the last couple of months.”
