As we get closer and closer to the time-frame that most religions refer to as  The end-times,

we have a seen a barrage of attacks not only against religious freedom, but against personal liberties as well.

A Kuwait Activist has just been sentenced to to 5 years in prison for insulting the Prophet Of Islam, Mohammed.

The Activist, Musaab Shamsa, was charged of this alleged “Crime” after he posted a tweet on his personal twitter account that was deemed “Offensive” to the reputation and credibility of the Islamic Prophet.

This decision was apart of the Gulf States new policy against Internet freedoms, but they seem to think they are merely stopping the spread of what they call
“slanderous news”.

Musaab Shamsa allegedly wrote on Twitter stating that…

Saddam Hussein, who was the son of Mohammed’s cousin, was more honest than the prophet Mohammed.

Kuwait man Imprisoned

Though this may be shocking to many Americans, this is actually nothing new in this part of the world.

We have seen a dramatic increase in religious persecution throughout the middle east. Not only is it illegal to insult the Islamic Faith, but there are actually harsh punishments for doing so.

As we mentioned in one of our previous posts entitled Who Is Allah,

We discovered that these punishments can sometime even result in death.
