Did you catch the State of the Union Address the other night?
If you didn’t catch it on Television, there is a good chance that you heard the commotion that it caused online. (Watch Here)
On Social media sites such as Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter, President Obama managed to send a surge of energy into his fan-base by presenting a vague (but extremely well crafted) speech that undoubtedly won the hearts of all those unfamiliar with his policies.
Oh yea, not to mention that fancy ‘Zinger’ that President Obama hit Republicans with when they began clapping at his comment pertaining to the end of his term. (View Clip)
But if you were anything like me, you had to fight off his supporters with a stick after this State of the Union address (it was that well crafted).
But before we get swept away in his “Inspiring words” — Lets examine how much of the President’s speech was factual.
In his state of the Union Address, President Obama stated the following…
“Tonight after a breakthrough year for America
Our economy is growing and creating Jobs at the fastest pace since 1999″
The U.S. economy is growing?
I don’t quite see how this is possible considering that our national debt has increased by roughly 6.7 trillion dollars under the Obama Administration alone, and this number is rapidly climbing.
In an article by Dave Boyer of the Washington Times, he states the following…
“President Obama likes to say that raising the nation’s borrowing limit ‘won’t add a dime’ to the federal debt, but he neglects to mention that the government already has borrowed the equivalent of more than 60 trillion dimes since he took office.
When Mr. Obama became president in January 2009, the total federal debt stood at $10.6 trillion. This week, it hit $16.7 trillion — an increase of 57 percent.”
In a related article by Kimberly Amadeo, she states the following…
“Depending on who you talk to, President Obama added anywhere from $983 billion to $7.7 trillion to the U.S. debt. Who’s lying? None of them. That’s because there’s three ways to look at the debt added for any President.”
So although the exact number varies from source to source pertaining to exactly how much debt the United States has accrued under the Obama Administration, one thing that we all can agree on is that — It is a WHOLE LOT.

Although it is partly true that new jobs have been created under the Obama Administration, there is another part to this story that is not being told.
Primarily, how Obamacare is being used to artificially inflate job growth statistics (more on that later)
But many of the Jobs that are being created by TOA (The Obama Administration) are not really “jobs”
In a post by Allen B. West (former member of House of Reps & Army Lieut.), he puts it like this…
“I will take this moment to remind the president that a minimum wage job is not a career and no one should have a goal of raising a family on $15,000 a year. Perhaps if we actually had real economic and job growth, that wouldn’t be the case?”
It is no surprise that President Obama didn’t make too many references to his signature piece of Legislation (Obamacare) in his State of the Union speech — considering that the majority of Americans despised it.
After all, you would be upset too if you were forced to spend twice as much on health insurance than you did before Obamacare was passed — wouldn’t you?
Not to mention the complete failure of the President’s famous promise…
“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan — Period”
Boy did that come back to bite him.
But with that being said, Obamacare helped pave the way for more of these “Temporal” jobs by dropping the qualification of a full-time worker from 40hr/week to 30hr/week.
Although this may not seem so bad, please allow me to explain.
Within Obamacare was a mandate for business owners that said that all businesses with 50 or more full-time employees must now provide health insurance or pay a fine each month it does not offer coverage. (Learn More)
Although this would not be a problem for mega-corporations such as Apple, Google, or Microsoft — this is extremely difficult for your average “mom and pop” business.
Not only must they pay their employees, pay themselves, and handle business costs — but they must now invest thousands more into complying with the Obamacare mandate which is outrageously expensive in-and-of itself (especially for smaller businesses).
For most middle-class businesses, they discovered that this is simply not affordable.
From there they were left with a choice
Most businesses chose the latter.
But now because most of its employees are working part-time, the Business must hire new workers to come in and compensate for the shortage in hours — BOOM, the unemployment-rate just went down. (artificial)
But is this really something to celebrate?
On Average, most employees earning minimum wage barely make enough money to provide for basic needs, even while working full-time.
But now thanks to Obamacare, the employees who once enjoyed a comfortable 40hrs a week are now facing a decrease of 10hrs in their paychecks.
So although more people may technically be employed, the middle-class (as a whole) is getting poorer.
Remind me, how is this helping the middle class?
In his speech, President Obama stated the following…
“America for all that we have endured, for all the Grit and work required to come back, for all the tasks that lay ahead, know this — The Shadow of Crisis has passed, and the State of the Union is strong.”
I couldn’t help but wonder what world the President was viewing when he made this statement.
All over the world we are witnessing global Chaos that not only threatens U.S. Interest, but U.S. safety as well.
Not only has “Crisis” NOT passed, but I would suggest that it is at a historic high!
ISIS has taken over large chunks of the middle-east and continues to devour all opposition within its path including Jews and Christians. Not to mention the fact that ISIS murdered 2 Americans on national Television and no one was ever brought to Justice.
Yet despite all of these things, the fact that President Obama still received overwhelming applause serves as credible evidence that if you do the following…
You can truly win over the hearts of the simple. (Duly Noted)
In the aforementioned post by Allen West, he stated…
“Also, Mr. President, “the shadow of crisis” has not passed – just ask the two Japanese men being held under threat of beheading by ISIS if $200 million ransom isn’t paid. And if the shadow of crisis has been lifted, then why do we have three U.S. Naval warships ready to evacuate the U.S. Embassy in Yemen? Oh by the way, that’s the second U.S. Embassy that will have been evacuated in less than a year.”
All throughout his speech, I couldn’t help but notice that President Obama sounded more like an emperor than he did a United States President.
He often talked about what HE was going to do and what he was NOT going to allow and the like.
It was almost as if he believed that had the power to both make laws and enforce them (which is unconstitutional).
In his speech President Obama stated the following…
“My only agenda for the next two years is the same as the one I’ve had since the day I swore an oath on the steps of this Capitol — to do what I believe is best for America.”
But wait, I thought his job was to do what WE THE PEOPLE believe is best?
Since when has it ever been the President’s job to decide what is best?
According to the U.S. Constitution, it doesn’t matter whether the President thinks it is best or not — his job is to enforce the laws passed by the people-elected Congress.
Yet on several occasions have the President completely side-stepped congress and and made decisions (and legislation) without approval of Congress.
Is he a President, or a King?

Although there is far much more to discuss on the President’s state of the Union address, for brevity’s sake we have limited to the most important points.
The primary takeaway from this article is this…
Despite what we are being told, the world is in an unprecedented time unlike ever before. radical Islam is without a doubt rising and nothing is being done to stop it, in fact it appears to be the exact opposite.
The policies that this Administration is passing appears to be enabling the growth of this radical ideology while simultaneously thrusting the world into an unbalanced state which could inevitably result in multiple military conflicts that drag the world into another (and possibly the last) world war.
When President Obama first received news about the growth of ISIS — he ignored it and simply called the radical group a “Jayvee” team.
Evidence later emerged that proved that President Obama knew about the rise of ISIS an entire YEAR before its advancement — yet he chose to do nothing.
Article: Obama received intel about rise of ISIS 1 yr early, yet did nothing
But the purpose of this article is not to question the President’s allegiance (although it is definitely a good question) — Instead it is to make a greater point.
It has nothing to do with Republican or Democrat, White or Black
— As Christians our loyalty should be to Jesus Christ alone.
Although it is okay to walk with someone who has the same loyalties as you do, the moment their loyalties begin to change — your walk with that person needs to end.
This has become the case not just with President Obama, but with the United States as a whole.
Many people blindly follow after this President despite the fact that we have no idea what his policies are. We follow him for vain reasons such as his skin color (Black), or his party (Democrat).
However, our loyalty should not be to any specific race or party — instead it should be to GOD alone.
People claim to be Christian, yet they support President Obama who supports ‘Planned Parenthood’ (abortion)
They claim to love Jesus, yet they support President Obama who supports same-sex marriage.
Something about that just doesn’t add up
Laws that once protected Christians and our beliefs are now doing the exact opposite — they are setting us up for persecution.
Where we once could call Homosexuality a sin, we are now considered intolerant and ignorant if we speak out against it.
Where we once could call abortion wrong, we are now considered hateful and abusive.
And whether we like it or not, this will only increase in the upcoming days.
The only question is, Who will you be loyal to?
