How did All nations come from ONE couple? | Answered

flagglobeI was on Facebook today and I encountered one of those bible-skeptics that we all know and love so much.

And while discussing it with her, she presented a question and I wanted to not only answer this question for her, but also for all those who will ever ask this question again.

But a common argument that I hear from skeptics is…

“How could a world filled with nations and dialects come from only two people?”

They argue that one race can only bring forth the same race.

( Isn’t it funny how evolutionists try to convince you that a Whale can come from a FLY… but yet they refuse to believe that different color humans can come from humans? thats another story! 🙂 )

But many times I am able to show them that it is their own racial-discrimination that works against them in answering this question.

They automatically assume that both Adam and Eve had to be the same race!

I mean, Its only logical to think that they were the same race because that is how they are depicted in all modern-day art… right?adam-eve race

WRONG.

So what race were they?

although the bible doesn’t mention their race (because it is irrelevant) Logically, we can only assume that they were both of a different race!

The common ancestry between all humans can be seen in the simple fact that although their are many different races,

there are only 4 different blood types (excluding positive & negative traits of the same)

  1. Group A
  2. Group B
  3. Group AB
  4. Group O

But in this we can see the common ancestry of humankind! It doesn’t matter where you go on the planet, there are people there who share the same blood-type as you do!

Although we all have similar blood-types, It is our DNA/Genes that will designate how we will look.

Our Genes determine…

  • Skin Color
  • Hair Color
  • Eye Color
  • Height
  • Allergies
  • Etc.

So now the question becomes…

how could All nations and nationalities come from two people of the same race and the same nationality?

Simple answer,

because even if there were the same race and nationality…. their genes were not the same.

our DNA contains billions upon billions of layers of genetic information,

And it is not just for us… but also for our children and our descendants.

This is how we are able to pass on our genetic material to our offspring!

So even If God had created both Adam and Eve to be of the same race
(which I highly doubt)…

He more than likely placed the genetic code for all nations and nationalities within the DNA of the first man…. Adam.

Which would in turn explain how Adam and Eve could give birth to different nationalities over the course of time.

( For the purpose of this post, we will go along with the assumption that Adam and Eve were NOT the same race. )

Now some may argue that because God took Eve from Adam’s Rib, they had to have been the same race. But this is grossly inaccurate.

God took Eve from Adam’s Rib (side), but why did he do this?

Because he is all-powerful, couldn’t he have created her out of nothingness as he did with Adam?

Answer? yes he could.

But because he did not do this, It is only logical to assume that there was a reason why he created her from Adam’s Rib.

And that reason is that it was symbolic for the “Relationship” that Adam and Ever were about to enter into.

When God created Eve, he created her from Adam’s rib to symbolize that they were Spiritually Unified!

That is what marriage is, when two become ONE spiritually.

(Gen 2:22)  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

(Gen 2:23)  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

(Gen 2:24)  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

This was the very first marriage! And we can actually see how Eve’s father ( God ) gave her away to Adam for the 2 to become ONE.

(Gen 2:22)  And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and he brought her unto the man.

This is why even TODAY, it is customary for the Father to “give away” the bride to the groom! Because the two are becoming one on that day!

but although Eve cam from Adam’s Rib, this symbolized the Spiritual Bond that they had with one another, but it had nothing to do with their external similarities
(Skin Color, Eye Color, Hair Color, Etc.)

That is why God made her from Adam’s Inside, and NOT from a flake of Adam’s skin or strand of his Hair.

So often in today’s world, society has been tainted by racialism and stereotypes.

Not to mention that most modern-day “Adam & Eve” images depict Adam and Eve as adam-eve racethe same race, but this is simply due to our own subconscious stereotypes.

We must realized that all depictions are just that….Depictions.

God created all races and all nations, he doesn’t care about race or nationality, but its a person’s spirit that he sees, not their skin.

When we try to limit God simply by our own standards we always encounter tough biblical questions such as this, but once we begin to understand that God is not bound by our understanding and that he far surpasses human knowledge we can truly begin to unravel the true mysteries of God.
